In a quiet corner of Algarve's coast in Portugal, there is this beautiful little town called Carvoeiro. We stayed there for our summer holidays and I could undoubtedly say it is one of the most authentic and prettiest Portuguese towns I have ever visited. I must certainly warn, Portugal can be really breathtaking! Being a traditional, tiny fishing village in the past and surviving its days from tuna catching, Carvoeiro became a perfect European beach holiday destination and continues to be such in 2016.
